French Polynesia

A yachtman's paradise

The Islands of Tahiti are a spectacular selection of ex-volcanic islands and Atolls strewn lazily across the grand South Pacific Ocean. The best cruising grounds are the Windward and Leeward islands of the Society Islands with names like Bora Bora, Huahine, Raiatea, and Moorea. These are the boater's dream come true with crystalline waters in sheltered coral lagoons overlooked by rugged volcanic peaks.

Perfect weather conditions

The summer months (November - April) are hot and humid, with many sunny days. The balance of the year is slightly cooler and drier. Cooling trade winds buffet the islands throughout the year, and the months of April, June, July, August, Septembe, October and November are widely considered to be ideal times to visit.
