This ex-coastguard of the Dutch Navy was built in
1951, together with Greenpeace's Sirius. Later she
was converted into a private expedition and diving
yacht.
Her typical profile of a working vessel hides some
great, comfortable cabins, be it without en-suite
toilet and showers, and a vast messroom, where 26
passengers can be seated.
There are plenty of activites offered,
ranging from sunbathing (on the 180 m² teak
deck and plenty of cushioned seats), to diving,
high sea fishing, waterskiing.
Cruising area is currently
the Caribbean side of Mexico, but Procyon is due
to cross the Panama Canal in 2003 and cruise the
Pacific coast of Mexico.
